Auto Road Service Roadside Assistance

Auto Road Service

Auto insurance offers limited road assistance services to drivers. Typically, an auto-insurance policy may or may not provide for towing to a nearby repair-service center, and often little else. That means if a driver has any other kind of emergency on the road, he's on his own unless he pays for true, dedicated roadside-assistance service.

Roadside-assistance memberships provide additional features over basic insurance service, typically for a nominal yearly fee. Considering a single tow, having a roadside-assistance service that includes towing may save a driver with his first call.

Additional Roadside-Assistance Services

While many roadside-assistance services, like towing and tire repair, are included in a basic package, others that could be considered more of a luxury typically cost more per membership. These additional services typically include:

  • Theft reward
  • Lost-key retrieval
  • Auto-repair discounts
  • Multi-vehicle coverage

How much these features add to membership costs varies between roadside-assistance providers, but typical charges can be double or nearly double basic membership. Even so, these are often services that can prove invaluable to drivers when they least expect it.

Avoiding an Auto Emergency

One of the best ways to avoid an emergency is to have a car or RV checked out by an auto mechanic prior to going on a trip. Have fluids changed or topped off, ensure that the engine is running properly (a test drive can tell) and make sure to fill the tank before departing.

We offer all of the services a driver would expect from a roadside-assistance provider.
